"It's Sooth Silver," says Phi, "she's from Sweet Water as well, a teacher at our local school. She was one of my best friends but I fear I'm losing her. She's been growing distant lately. She no longer goes to any parties or even out to town. She had always been all the children's favourite teacher but not anymore. She dropped her usual kindness. She still does her duties, but she doesn't do anything else anymore.

"And today, well, she just walked out of the village, alone, and into the pyramid. She drank some sort of potion to make her invisible before entering, though. I think she perhaps wanted to make some discoveries, to have something to write in her books or perhaps something to tell the children, but this is wrong! We never enter the pyramid!

"So I follow her and hope to find her before it's too late."

Perception or Understanding: Additional Information

She is sincere.

Knowledge: Additional Information

You think of historical precedents for such a change of personality and you can think of three: One, when the god Aldur was imprisoned by the changeling lord Harrar who then impersonated him. Two, when the elemental lord Prism, overcome with jealousy, turned into the wicked lord Shadowstream. And three, when the Base Elements turned chaotic played havoc with the minds of everyone, long before Aldur's reign. None seem to fit this scenario perfectly, though.

Analysis: Additional Information

That invisibility potion must have been the reason why only one proximity alarm was triggered. The Custodians knew of only one intruder who trespassed into the pyramid. That was Phi. If she didn't follow Sooth Silver, you never would have known.

"Then let's go find her together."
Walk towards the elevator.
